2810026 - Convert Lead

Activation of Lead conversion to a further document.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Leads view.
3. Open Lead XYZ (XYZ represents the identification of the lead).
4. Selection Action.

Option to Convert to 'account and contact' etc. is not available.

The activity Maintain Status dictates the behavior of the different Actions.

Note: Option of converting lead to sales quote does not exist.

The status Converted is the logical end of the status chain.

You cannot assign any conversion action to this status and you cannot assign it to a lead manually.

Go to the Business Configuration work center.

1. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
2. Select the relevant project.
3. Select Open Activity List.
4. Go to Fine-tune.
5. Select the Leads activity.
6. Select Maintain Status.

You can activate or de-activate a specific action in fine-tuning, if allowed.

   

Option of converting lead to sales quote for the converted status does not exit.

To allow conversion of lead to another object needs to be set up and allowed as per the above.

You can determine how often a lead can be converted to Opportunity: Lead Fine Tuning Activity > Conversion Limit > Maintain Conversion Limit.
