2810831 - Warning message when resetting password on AS Java - The password must contain at least 1 special characters

Symptom

  • The data source of the UME is an ABAP system.
  • When using the Logon Help / Get Support page to reset a password, the following message is displayed after submitting the form:

The password must contain at least 1 special characters.

  • The following error is written to the traces:

PersistenceException: BAPI_USER_CHANGE@<CLIENT>: TYPE=X, ID=XX, NUMBER=XXX, MESSAGE=The password must contain at least 1 special characters
