Symptom
- You upgrade the SAP HANA Database and you now have MDC environment with SYSTEM DB and Tenant DB and you are unable to add Tenant in HANA Studio due to error given below in symptom
- You install a new SAP HANA Database and you are unable to add Tenant in HANA Studio due to error given below in symptom
- In HANA Studio when you try to add the Tenant DB you get the below error in the HANA Studio log:
com.sap.ndb.studio.jdbc.JDBCConnectionStatus: Database connection is not available; see error log
at com.sap.ndb.studio.jdbc.JDBCPlugin.createConnection(JDBCPlugin.java:284)....
Caused by: com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: Cannot connect to jdbc:xxx://Hostname [Cannot connect to host Hostname:3XX13 [Connection timed out: connect (port 3XX13 to address : xxxx.xx.xxx.xx.xxx)], -813.]
