2811338 - The Effective Start Date Cannot be Before Hire Date

You would receive an error message while updating job relationship Via import.

The application error:

• "The Effective Start Date cannot be before Hire Date: Month Day. Year" or "The Effective Start Date cannot be before Recruit Date: Month Day. Year"

Example: Job Relationship file to import has the following data

• Start date 31/05/2019
• Recruit date 03/06/2019

Import the file

1. Import Employee Data
2. Example Job Relationship
3. Validate Import File Data (All is fine)
4. Import
5. Application error is thrown as follows: " The Effective Start Date cannot be before Recruit Date: Jun 3. 2019"

The error thrown is clear and unambiguous.

The effective start date (31/05/2019) is before the recruit / hire date (03/06/2019)
Meaning the user have started working before being actually hired - which is not allowed = ERROR
Thus The effective start date should be at least equal to hire / recruit date or later.
The date of insertion can be any date

1-Ensure the Effective Start Date is at least equal to the Hire / Recruit Date or Later -

• 2636395 - Hire Date Correction: Change Hire Date Retroactively across all Hire Date relevant portlets

OR

2-Correct the Date with Full Purge Import

• 2317955 - Correct or Remove Job Information record via Import in Full Purge mode
