1. Go to Career Site Builder
2. Select Page
3. Select corresponding Language and Brand
4. Add Two Columns Component 
5. Insert text in Details section 
6. Upload image in Styles section under Background Image 
7. when previewing the page, the text is overlapping the image instead of appearing in a separate column

Misconception about the expected behaviour of the component

This is the Expected Behavior of the component. There are not actually two separate columns. There is one column which can be made to look as two.
By default the text will overlap with the image.
If it is desirable not to have text and images overlap, the image should be selected or edited more carefully. As a suggestion, the image could have the right half be transparent to allow for the text overlap.

The options in the image type dropdown apply to the full width of the component. For example, if you select Center, the image appears centered across the width of both columns.

Image Position determines which section of the image is the focal point when the image is resized for responsive sites. For example, if the image features a person, you can choose an Image Position that ensure that person's face always remains in the image.

Allowing for the text to be moved would constitute an enhancement to the component. See process below to submit an enhancement request.
