2814414 - Default Time Zone for a Country Cannot be Edited in Business Configuration

Symptom

You are trying to change the default time zone for a country like Turkey, but you cannot uncheck the default time zone.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Open activity Countries.
  3. Open Specify Time Zones.
  4. Select Turkey.

The default checkbox is grayed out and cannot be unticked.

Cause

The default time zone can be changed only for localized countries. This feature is not enabled for non-localized countries like Turkey.

Resolution

This is the current designed behavior of the system.
