2814580 - Behavior Statements configuration in PM form - Performance Management

Symptom

  • How to control "Behavior Statements" on PM and 360 forms
  • How to avoid the behavior statement to show twice
  • How to expand the behavior title in the competencies section for copying it into the behavior statement

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors 360 Multi Rater

Resolution

Currently it's not possible to expand the characters for the behaviors title on the competencies section. You must write the Behavior Title and Behavior Statement separately.

To avoid duplicated text in the behavior title and description you may not use the exact same text in both of them.

Behavior Statements will list the behaviors of this competency when "Rating by behavior" is not configured. You have 3 options to configure the behaviors view:

  1. If you want to rating by behavior: use-behavior="true", behavior-mode-opt="0", and make sure the behavior-rating-opt are set correctly. . All cases are invalid if you want to config behavior-mode-opt=1/2/4/5 combine with use-behavior="true".
  2. If you want to show the mapped behaviors in job code ONLY, just set behavior-mode-opt=1/2
  3. If you want to show behaviors mapped to job code, and also other behaviors which not map to the job code, just set behavior-mode-opt=4/5

Note - It is not possible to remove the competency name before the behaviour statement. It will always appear.
