2814955 - Behavior of VLS 'Minimum Attendance for credit' across multiple class segments

Symptom

What is the correct behavior for 'Minimum Attendance Percentage for Credit' in class VLS settings when there are multiple segments in the offering.

Is the completion calculated across all segment sessions or by individual segment.

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System - Virtual Learning System

Reproducing the Issue

For Example:
If a class is created with two 4 Hour segments across 2 days
'Minimum Attendance Percentage for Credit' is set at 40%
Does the user have to attend minimum 40% of each segment or
If the user attends 100% of first session, does this count as 50% of total and therefore enough for completion of the offering

Resolution

Completion is determined across all segments based on total time attended relative to the duration of all segments.

In the example above, if 100% of the first segment time is achieved this is counted as 50% of the total time so credit is earned as 50% exceeds the 40% minimum attendance.
