2815015 - NetWeaver Job Scheduler "Job must be in status STARTING in order to be started. It is in a specific status

Symptom

Following exception in the default trace file in relation to a Large scheduled job on NetWeaver Java system can be observed :

Job must be in status STARTING in order to be started. It is in status 'COMPLETED', 'STARTING' etc.
The job will neither continue nor re-run.

The Job does finish successfully but there is not enough time for it to complete successfully within the confirmation time due to the timeout set.
