Unable to submit VAT Return to HMRC. VAT Return Submission status: Returned; Approval Status: Rejected.

SAP Business Bydesign

1. Go to the Tax Management work center.
2. Go to VAT Returns Sub view
3. Select Tax Return XYZ with Reported status. (XYZ represents the Tax Return ID) 
4. Press View
5. Press Submit.
6. Under Submission Information:  Submission Status: Returned; Approval Status: Rejected.
7. Error Description: |No account determined|. Please check configuration.|Technical Response: Missing required parameter: Client / Account Registration Located in: REMOTE_CONNECTOR-PROCESS_DATA.

Authorized accounts must be added in order to submit the UK MTD data. A communication arrangement have been set between the company and the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) system to enable the exchange of invoice data required for the approval of electronic invoices.

1. In the Business Configuration work center, select the Implementation Projects view.
2. Select the responsible project and choose Open Activity List.
3. In the Fine Tune section, select the UK Making Tax Digital activity.
4. Under Services, select the UK MTD Integration service and choose Add Row to add an account for the service.
5. Select Allow Access. This opens a window requesting to launch the web service in new browser window, to sign on to the service.
6. Select Launch web service in new browser window. Enter the credentials in the HMRC page to generate an authorization code.
7. Copy the authorization code and paste it in the Authorization Code field in the Allow Access window.
8. Select OK. The account has now been successfully set up for the company and the tax can be submitted digitally.
9. Post the activity has been re-performed the submission should go through.
