2816225 - ASE upgrade fails with error "ASE setup did not run" - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • When SAP ASE is upgraded using saphostctrl, it fails with error "ASE setup did not run."
  • However, ASE's upgraded binaries have been successfully replaced (ASE is starting with a newer version, but sp_version will indicate an older version)
