2816278 - Error during Goods and Service Receipt Approval: "Action Approve not possible; action is disabled"

When you are trying to approve Goods receipt where account assignment is project task, you are getting following error message:

"Action Approve not possible; action is disabled".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Managing My Area work centre
2. Select view Approvals
3. Search for the goods receipt approval task where account assignment is project task
4. Select Approve
5. Error message is displayed: "Action Approve not possible; action is disabled"

The approval fails because the project task against the Goods and Service Receipt(GSR) has been completed and Completed project task does not permit the posting of goods and services receipt.

Please open the project task before triggering approval on the Goods receipt under consideration.
 
If this does not work, please try sending it back to revision and ensure there are no errors on the document before sending for approval again.
