Symptom

  • All the following messages started repeating over and over in the ASE server log:
      • Over 30,000:
        ulinitspinlock: allocate TRANSIENT_HASHSTATS_SPIN failed
    • Over 2,500:
      ulinitspinlock: allocate CTINFO SPIN failed
    • No stacktrace or other messages
       
  • What do these errors mean?  How can they be stopped?
