2816838 - Variables in business rules are not editable and cannot be deleted

When trying to edit a rule, we see that for some variables the edit or delete options are not provided in the drop down.

SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Open a business rule in edit mode (Make Correction or Insert New Record)

2. Click on the down arrow next to a variable

3. The edit option is not available in the drop down

The variable has been used in subsequent if conditions or set statements in the same rule.

The variable should be removed from any subsequent statements to make it editable again. After the variable is changed, it can be used again in following if conditions or set statements.
