Symptom
By default system displays 17 decimal places. A rounding rule is required to round time valuation results for integration purpose.

Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Sheet
Resolution
1. Configure below rounding rule as shown below.
2. Ensure that integrations retrieve the quantity in hours from Time Valuation Results, not from Employee Time. Otherwise, the integration will continue to receive the unrounded value (up to 17 decimal places).
Important Notes:
- Only Time Type Groups that are payroll‑relevant (Pay Type = Yes) will be considered by this rule.
- The rounded value will not be displayed in the Summary section in Time Sheet UI.
- Cause: The Time Sheet UI displays the values from the Employee Time object, while this rounding rule is executed on the Time Valuation Result object.
- The rounded value can be checked under Time Valuation Result in Employee Time Sheet Object via Manage Data.
