2817538 - IDoc Not Reaching CPI for Cost Center Replication – SuccessFactors Integrations

IDoc messages for Cost Center Replication leave the SAP ERP system (status 30) but do not reach Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

One common cause is an incorrect or incomplete port configuration in the ERP system, preventing the IDoc from being sent to the correct CPI endpoint.

Verify the Web Service communication setup between ERP and CPI. The following configuration steps must be reviewed:

1. Create an RFC HTTP Destination (Type G)

This destination defines the HTTP communication channel to CPI.

2. Configure Logical System & Distribution Model (SALE)

These objects define the communication partners involved in IDoc processing.

3. Create an XML HTTP Port (WE21)

Configure a port of type XML HTTP, assigning the RFC destination created in Step 1.

4. Validate the Partner Profile (WE20)

A Partner Profile must exist in WE20 according to the integration guide (Section 6.3.4).

• Partner No. should be the logical system representing the middleware (CPI).
• Receiver Port must match the XML HTTP port created in WE21.

If another port is selected, open its details and verify the target host.
If it does not point to your CPI tenant, the IDoc will not reach CPI.
