2817648 - Msg 5861 when running sp_configure with options that do not require memory - SAP ASE

Symptom

Error 5861 is seen when running sp_configure with options like "allow update that do not require more memory when static config parameters like "global cache partitions" is set to a non-default value and the amount of free memory remaining is relatively small.

Procedure 'sp_configure', Line 1372:
The current 'max memory' value '263150', is not sufficient to change the parameter 'allow updates to system tables' to '1'. 'max memory' should be greater than 'total logical memory' '272022' required for the configuration.
