2817954 - Visibility and Read-Only Rules are not considered when using the Opportunity List


You are using the beta feature “Edit Opportunities in the List”. You have a field that it is read-only (or visible) according to some rules. However, you realise that you can always see and modify the field using the opportunity list.

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-requirement: You need to have the Beta feature “Edit Opportunities in the List”.

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Go to the Opportunities view.
  3. Open an opportunity.
  4. Open the Adaptation mode, select a field and click Field Properties.
  5. Add a visibility rule and save the changes.
  6. Go to the Opportunity OWL.
  7. Click on Edit (the pen icon on the top right corner).
    RESULT: You can edit a field in the opportunity list that you cannot modify (or see) if you open the opportunity itself.



The rules for the dynamic visibility or edition of fields are defined in the Opportunity TI with key-user tools. However, we do not support the use of Key User rules on OWL's.
