Symptom

You are trying to finish scoping, however you are facing below error:

'Change Is Not Possible Due to Existing Account Territory'

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center;
  2. Go to the Implementation Projects view;
  3. Select respective implementation project;
  4. Select Edit Project Scope;
  5. Make the scoping changes;
  6. Go to final step;
  7. Click on Finish;
  8. The error will occur.

Cause

The scoping option of Territory Management is not scoped, however there are accounts having territory association.

In Data Workbench, if you export data of the object Sales Territory Account, you can see that there are a few records.

Resolution

You can scope the Territory Management option to make the scoping consistent again.
