Symptom

Behavior of Time Sheet related data on termination of an employee.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Sheet

Resolution

The behavior is as below:

  • System will allow termination of employee even if time sheet data exists during inactive period.
  • System will delete time valuation results, time management alerts (for time sheets), time collectors etc., if it exists during inactive period.
  • It also sets the time sheet and external time data status to inactive (no additional configuration is required).
  • Time sheet gets re-activated by the recalculation job(provisioning) in case the termination is reverted.

NOTE: Absences will not be processed by above clean-up activity
