Symptom

A Regenerate Matrix Placement History Job has been run and does not update the Matrix Placement History Portlet in the Employee Profile of inactive employee's.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Find an inactive employee who is displaying incorrectly on the Matrix Placement History Portlet.
  2. Schedule the Regenerate Matrix Placement History Job in the back to run.
  3. Once the job has run successfully, the users placement is not updated.

Cause

The Regenerate Matrix Placement History Job does not run for inactive employee's.

Resolution

If having this feature is important for your company, you could log an enhancement request on the community where you may have this put on the road map for a future release.
