2818870 - Employee Not Visible in Resource Search but Available in Resource Profile – SAP Business ByDesign

An employee is visible in Resource Profile but not shown in Resource Search. The message “Working days are not determined; check work schedule for [employee]” is displayed.

SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Resource Management work center
2. Open Resource Profile view
3. Search for the employee and confirm that the employee is visible
4. Open Resource Search view
5. Search for the same employee and confirm that the employee is not listed

This is expected system behavior. The Resource Search view displays only employees who have available working time. Employees without maintained availability or working days are not shown in the search results.

Check and maintain the employee’s availability:

1. Go to Resource Management work center
2. Open Resource Profile view
3. Search and open the employee
4. Click Edit, then open Resource Profile
5. Go to the Availability tab
6. Check the Resource Availability section

Ensure that working days and availability are properly maintained. If the employee still does not appear despite having availability, please raise an incident with SAP Support for further analysis.
