2819670 - Largest single shared memory segment size on Linux SAP ASE

The operating system command 'ipcs -ma' reports more than one shared memory segment for ASE when "max memory" is configured for larger than 2 terabytes.  The first shared memory segment reported by ipcs is exactly 2 terabytes.

Example output:

The first shmid is exactly 2 terabytes and the second shmid is 961GB.  The sum of both shared memory segments represents the "max memory" configured to ASE.

This report of maximum single shared memory segment size of 2 terabytes is the default and expected behavior.
