2819842 - How to access Email Logs From SuccessFactors

• Customer wants to check if an email was sent out from SucessFactors
• Cannot pull an email report/audit log within SuccessFactors
• How can customer keep tracking on the emails sent from SuccessFactors?

As of 2H 2023 you can now monitor the delivery of email notifications using Stories in People Analytics. For more details see KBA 3387145 - Reporting on the delivery of System Email Notifications

Kindly check if you have this feature enabled and see if this satisfies your requirement.

Alternatively, you can create a ticket with Product Support o obtain log details of a specific email using component LOD-SF-PLT-NOT and provide ALL of the following:

• Email notification subject
• Email id of the receiver or domain (e.g. @domain.com)
• Date and time when the email was received

Please NOTE: 

• We only have 90 days of logs available in the system.
• The information we can retrieve and confirm from the logs regarding emails is very limited.
• It is not possible to generate a log for all emails sent from SuccessFactors.
• It is only possible to request these logs for single emails/single recipients. We cannot provide details for hundreds or thousands of emails sent to hundreds or thousands of users.
• Checking the logs is a manual process to confirm what may have triggered an email to a specific user; it is not an audit or report on every user who received a certain email.
• Also, due to security concerns, it is not possible to add an admin user as "BCC" for all the emails sent from SuccessFactors for tracking purposes.
