2820498 - 1908 - Change logon behavior for Global Assignment employees

For employees that have active Global Assignments enabled, the default behavior during logon will be for the system to redirect the user to their host assignment. In the 1908 release, you can now define if the employee is redirected to the Host or the Home assignment after logon.

This enhancement was added to provide more flexibility with the default navigation of Global Assignment users to their different assignments (Host vs Home)

As of Q3 2019, admins can configure the system so that a user with a global assignment (GA) will not be redirected to the (host) global assignment user when they log on. This change can be configuration in the Global Assignment Configuration object in Manage Data. No changes to permission settings are required. This new configuration will also change the results in the search, so that the search user is also redirected to the home assignment.

Within Manage Data > Global Assignment Configuration, a new switch has been added = "Disable redirection from home users to global assignment users when logging in"

By default, this new option will be set to 'No' (as shown in the screenshot below). This will continue to use the standard behavior of redirecting the employee to the Host assignment while on assignment --- This is the default behavior prior to the 1908 release.

If this option is enabled (set to 'Yes') the system will disable the redirection from home users to their global assignment when logged in. For example, the employee will NOT be redirected to the Host assignment and will remain with the Home assignment if the following option is set:
