2820771 - Workflow definition of task 'WSxxxxxxxx' cannot be activated (WD274)

Symptom

  • A certain workflow cannot be started.
  • In SWDD when displaying the workflow template, a popup came requesting you to choose a version and then you see the workflow definition with status "Runtime exists, Saved". The "Create and Activate Runtime Version" buttonActivate button.png and "Display <-> Change" button Edit button.png are grayed out.
  • When trying to activate the workflow template by program RSWDACT0, error "Workflow definition of task 'WSxxxxxxxx' cannot be activated (WD274)" raised and activation is not successful.
