2820839 - Restrict Changes in Gantt Chart for Assignments in Resource Scheduler

You do not want your users to drag and drop any existing assignments in the gantt chart of resource scheduler.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Resource Scheduler work center.
2. Go to the Resource Scheduler view and click the All Demands from drop-down option.
3. Now click the Show Advance Filter option.
4. Click the value help of field Service Team and search with service technician team name as LMN(where LMN is service technician team, you can see in service and repair facet of the ticket XYZ, XYZ represents the id of the ticket).
5. Click the Go button.
6. Select a demand ABC(where ABC represents the id of the demand) from the gantt chart.

Now you want to prevent drag and drop here so that the demand is not reassigned to a different time or service technician.

1. Go to the Resource Scheduler work center.
2. Go to the Resource Scheduler view.
3. Click the Assignment ABC(where ABC represents the id of the assignment) in the gantt chart
4. Select Edit Assignment from the More button on the right top
5. Choose the value Released for the field Released in the dropdown.
6. Click Ok

Once this is done, user will not be able to do any changes using drag and drop for the assignment ABC.
Additionally, this field Released is available for usage in the business object BusinessActivityIndustryExtension.
