2821077 - Cannot Add New Input Product With Fixed Quantity Using Mass Maintenance Run

You are not able to add a new Input Product to a Bill of Material using Production Bill of Material Mass Maintenance Run.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Bills Of Material Mass Maintenance Run view.
3. Click New.
4. Select the BoM Mass Maintenance Option Add Input Product.
5. Notice that you cannot choose the Fixed Quantity, there is no option to select it.

In current release of ByD, it is not possible to add a new Input Product with Fixed Quantity using Production Bills Of Material Mass Maintenance Run. You need to do it manually.

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Bills Of Material view.
3. Find the relevant Bill Of Material.
4. Open the relevant Bill Of Material.
5. Click View All.
6. Select Input Products tab.
7. Click Add Row.
8. Enter the Line Item Group ID.
9. Enter the Line Item ID.
10. Enter the Product ID.
11. Enter the Quantity.
12. Check the box Fixed Quantity.
13. Select Save and Close.
