You post a Production Confirmation and notice that the Journal Entry is missing a posting for the Confirmed Scrap Quantity.

Cause
Scrapping data is not sent to Financials and is not supported via Production Confirmations. Hence, this data does not show in the Journal Entry.
Resolution
This is correct system behavior. Scrapping via Production confirmations do not show on the Journal Entry. This is just a field to record data for information purpose only.
The correct way to record scrapping is via Scrapping in the Internal Logistics work center. This would then have postings as expected.
