2821739 - GR/IR Clearing Run - Application Run Time Exception

A GR/IR Clearing Run finishes with the error: "During run the error 'Application runtime exception; report a case' occurred".

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Go to Periodic Tasks.
3. Select GR/IR Clearing subview.
4. Select run in question.
5. Select Log Result.
6. Select Messages tab.

Error message: "During run the error 'Application runtime exception; report a case' occurred."

This error occurs due to a lack of memory when the run has to process a very high volume of data.

• Clear the current open GR/IR Clearing set and run the GR/IR Run by Purchase Order range.
• If possible, Run the GR/IR frequently (daily / weekly basis). It also can be automated using Schedule Recurrent GR/IR Run.
• If executed for multiple set of books, perform the run for each set of book separately.
