2822070 - FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: signal 11 hit while handling a previously hit signal. - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Client process unexpectedly disconnected.
  • ASE error log contains an "Infected with signal 11" error that includes the following message:

    FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: signal 11 hit while handling a previously hit signal. The server cannot continue and will shut down.
  • A stack trace will follow.
  • ASE then shuts down.
