2822310 - When copying an Item, "feature not supported" error is generated.

Symptom

When copying an Item, the following error is generated:

Caused by: com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: [7]: feature not supported:
Cannot create tables at the location without volume id such as standby indexserver: sc02hdblb005:30403

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Learning > Item > Search
  2. Select the Item you wish to copy and open
  3. Within the Action menu, select Copy
  4. Remove the flag from 'Auto Generate'
  5. Populate the Item ID Field with the new Item ID
  6. Click Copy
  7. Error is generated

Cause

Most likely there is a problem with a database procedure which is the root cause of the error.

Resolution

Please create a new case with CS as the procedure which is causing the error will need to be dropped and re-created in order to resolve. This will be done in conjunction with the relevant Database team.
