2822662 - 1908: Offset For Creation Of Accrual Calculation Base Object

• No accrual calculation account type base records created in case there is a big gap (in date) between the oldest Accrual Calculation Base records and the uploaded ones.

        For Example: Suppose,  for employee XYZ, an ‘Accrual Calculation Base’ record dated 01/01/2015 exists in the system(Manage Data -> Accrual Calculation Base’).If you now try to upload a new ‘Accrual Calculation Base’ with date ‘01/08/2019, then the base object do not get created.

• Having old records in the system will case performance and memory issues.
• In order to avoid this, a new offset field (Accrual Calculation Base Offset(in months) ) is created in Time Management Configuration object.

• This field is not visible by default. It’s visibility needs to be set to ‘Editable’ from the Configure Object Definition (i.e the Configure Object Definition-> Time Management Configuration -> Set visibility of the field Accrual Calculation Base Offset(in months) to Editable).
• The value of the field should be <0

• The above configuration means that you cannot create/import an 'Accrual Calculation Base’ object with date before 12 months from now.

For example: Today is 1^st Aug 2019 and I am creating ‘Accrual Calculation Base’ with date 1^st Aug 2017(which is way before 12 months). On save, it throws error “Please enter another date or change the Accrual Calculation Base Offset in Time Management Configuration”
