- No accrual calculation account type base records created in case there is a big gap (in date) between the oldest Accrual Calculation Base records and the uploaded ones.
For Example: Suppose, for employee XYZ, an ‘Accrual Calculation Base’ record dated 01/01/2015 exists in the system(Manage Data -> Accrual Calculation Base’).If you now try to upload a new ‘Accrual Calculation Base’ with date ‘01/08/2019, then the base object do not get created.
- Having old records in the system will case performance and memory issues.
- In order to avoid this, a new offset field (Accrual Calculation Base Offset(in months) ) is created in Time Management Configuration object.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
