Material determination / material substitution is being used. In transaction VB11 the records so that material AAAA is substituted by material BBBB was maintained, and material BBBB should be substituted with material CCCC.
When creating a sales order and adding material AAAA, the system is proposing material BBBB and not the end material you expected.
