2822796 - SAP_HANA_DATABASE/hdbupd does not exist

Symptom

While updating your HANA System via hdblcm you receive the below error:

"SAP HANA Database executable  '/Directory/path/install/SAP_HANA_DATABASE/hdbupd' does not exist."

For example, Error seen when updating from HANA system 2.00.040 to HANA 2.00.041 via hdblcm gui :
