2823076 - Login page in RCM is not respecting language chosen in career site (RMK) - Recruiting

• SCENARIO 1: When accessing the RMK site, and going to your Profile, the Header and Footer are in one language, while the login page and information is in another.
• SCENARIO 2: When accessing the careers site in RMK, select the language Malay (Malaysia) (ms_MY locale), then click on View Profile, the header and footer coming from RMK is in Malay, but the login page and the candidate profile details are in English (or the default locale), when it should also be in Malay.
• Candidate Profile page shows up the language dropdown as ???LOCALE_ms_MY??? and it's not in Malay

SCENARIO 1:

1. Access the Career site in RMK
2. Select the language you'd like to see the RMK site
3. Click on View Profile
4. It will redirect you to RCM Candidate Profile login page, with the header and footer from RMK
5. Header and footer from RMK will be in the language you've selected, but the login page part will be in English (or other default language configured in the instance)

SCENARIO 2:

1. Access the Career site in RMK
2. Select the language you'd like to see the RMK site in Malay (Malaysia) language (ms_MY)
3. Click on Lihat Profil (view profile)
4. It will redirect you to RCM Candidate Profile login page, with the header and footer from RMK
5. Header and footer from RMK will be in Malay (ms_MY) and the login page part will be in English (or other default language configured in the instance)

For both cases, the cause would be different locales configured in RCM and RMK, especially because there are some locales in RMK that doesn't exist in Provisioning.

• SCENARIO 1: The language configured in the instance is one that is not supported in RMK or is wrongly configured. Example: in Provisioning, you have enabled zh_TW locale, which is Traditional Chinese, while in RMK you have selected zh_HK, which is Traditional Chinese Hong Kong. They are different locales, so since RCM (BizX environment) doesn't have available the locale configured in RMK, it will pick the default locale configured in Provisioning.
• SCENARIO 2: The site locale in RMK is selected ms_MY, while RCM only supports Bahasa Melayu (Malay) (bs_BS). Hence, when clicking on View Profile, RCM will show up the default locale, but RMK will remain using the locale defined there.

For both secenarios, to resolve this issue, it would be needed to select another RMK Site Locale:

• For scenario 1, the solution would be to try to find a language that exists in both sides (RCM and RMK). In the example given above where the issue is with the different chinese languages selected, in RCM is configured zh_TW while in RMK is zh_HK, which isn't available in RCM, but zh_TW is available in RMK. That being said, a possible solution would be to select zh_TW in both environments.
• For scenario 2, that is the case of the ms_MY locale, it would be to enable bs_BS instead of ms_MY in Command Center, to match Malay's (Bahasa Melayu (Malay) (bs_BS)) language supported in BizX instance.

PLEASE NOTE: If you remove another locale from RMK and save it, all the configurations for it in Career Site Builder will be deleted. Hence, if both languages can use the same wording, a best practice would be to first select/add the locale available in RCM to RMK site, configure everything as it is in the previous locale, then delete the new selected locale locale from RMK.
