2823481 - Errors when submitting a Scheduled Change Audit Report

When trying to create a scheduled Change Audit Report, you see one of the errors below:

• First occurrence time and Report End time are not valid
• The File Put Permission test failed

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Admin Center > Change Audit Reports;
2. Select the report you want to create;
3. Insert a time range of less than 7 days;
4. Mark the report as recurrent;
5. Select a start date in the past and an end date in the future;
6. Click to submit;
7. See the errors

• For the error "First occurrence time and Report End time are not valid":

The Start Date of the scheduled Change Audit report is in the past. The Start date is the date when the report will start to be generated automatically, according to the time range and the recurrence informed. Since that, the start date needs to be setup at least current date to future date.

• For the error "The File Put Permission test failed":

External SFTP is missing the "delete" permission. The system requires the sftp user to have the delete permission for "Test permission" action. 

When trying to configure a scheduled change audit report, please make sure to select a start date is either in current date to future so the report will start to be generated automatically after that date and time. The end date can be configured to a future date when you want the report stop running automatically.

Example: Consider the scenario below was created in system at: 11/07/23

• Time range: 11/07/23, 8:22 AM - 11/08/23, 8:22 AM (it set the slot where report will collect and provide data)
• Recurring Pattern: Start: 11/08/23, 8:22 AM - End: 11/15/23, 8:25 AM (It sets the period and how many times the report will run)

Also, when using an external SFTP, please make sure it has the "delete" permission to proceed with the scheduling.
