2823970 - REORG REBUILD WITH ONLINE may cause RAT error 9204 - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • Error messages below are printed in the ASE errorlog when running REORG REBUILD WITH ONLINE:

Error: 9219, Severity: 20, State: 431
RepAgent(13): Internal coding error.
Error: 9204, Severity: 20, State: 10
RepAgent(13): Could not locate schema for object with id = (xxx), current marker (xxx, xxx).
Shutting down Rep Agent for database, 'xxx' (dbid = xxx).
Rep Agent on database 'xxx' switched from mode 'sync' to mode 'async' because of a shutdown.

  • Error does not happen on specific objects, but rather on different objects.
  • After RepAgent Thread (RAT) is down, just restart it and the thread will start up fine.
