2824062 - System Crashes While Previewing an Advice

Symptom

The system crashes while previewing an advice for an outgoing bank transfer.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Payment Management or Liquidity Management work center.
  2. Go to the Payment Monitor view.
  3. Open Outgoing Bank Transfer AAA (AAA means the Outgoing Bank Transfer ID).
  4. Click View All.
  5. Click Preview > Advice.
  6. System crashes.

Cause

The system crashes because there's no address maintained in the master data of the supplier being paid by Outgoing Bank Transfer AAA.

Resolution

An address should be maintained in the respective supplier master data, under Communication tab > Addresses sub-tab.
