When you open an existing incident and in the Investigation Tab you decide to start one of the Investigation Steps, the following question is displayed:
“If you start a process, all changes are saved and the task is set to read-only. Do you want to start the process?”
You accept it and the process is started. You open that Investigation step and you notice that it can be edited.
