Symptom

  • Running a select statement hot the following error and IQ server crashed:
    SAP IQ Abort:
    From:  stcxtlib/st_server.cxx:2098
    caught signal 8 with the following stacktrace:
    SA_Fatal()
    DB_Fatal()
    CacheImpl::Panic
    CacheImpl::Alloc
    CacheImpl::AllocImage
    RelocatableHeap::alloc_page
  • The following message also seen in the .srvlog file
