2825070 - Sorry, no position found - Position Org Chart - Employee Central

Symptom

 Searching for a position in Position Org Chart results in error: " Sorry no position found".

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Position Management 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Check if RBP is provided correctly as per KBA - 2362324.
  2. Go to home page > Company Info.
  3. Search for desired position in Position Org Chart.
  4. Error pops up: " Sorry no position found".

Cause

Either Position or child position has 2 record with end date 31/12/9999 or an invalid end date. Please create advance position report or enable the effective end date on the position object (Configure Object Definitions -> Position) and check the same

Resolution

Identify position and follow below step.

  1. Export Position data for specific position from Import and export position data
  2. Download position template and update position except end date field.
  3. Import position in Full purge mode.

Once above step perform issue should be resolved.
