2825491 - Slowness on an integration's preview - Integration Center

An integration has been created on Integration Center and its preview it's getting extremely slow, making the browser gets stuck and crash.

There are two related causes for this issue to happen:

1. There are some fields in some entities that contain too much data, like the field "fileContent" of the entity Attachment that contains an extremely large string of data.
   
   An inbound integration that would show a preview of 10 batches of these kind of fields or an outbound integration with too many columns can have a really large amount of data to be processed by the browser. This could lead to slowness and crashes.
   
   
2. Cache, Cookies from the browser are interfering in Integration Center performance

Resolution for the 1st cause:

The trick would be making the integration less heavier for the browser, limitating the results shown by the integration's preview. To do so, you could:

• Apply filters that would select less results, like filtering by only 1 record.

• Decrease the Maximum Preview Items to be shown. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to "Configure Fields" tab
2. In the top-right side, click on the Glasses button
   
   
3. Decrease the "Maximum Preview Items" value
   
   

The lesser results, the better for the browser to process the page and its data.

Resolution for the 2nd cause:

1. Clean the cookies and cache from the browser
2. Change the browser that is being used to access Integration Center

Note that, after internal testings, Internet Explorer may be more affected than other browsers like Google Chrome with slowness issues. If the workarounds mentioned previously doesn't take effect on Internet Explorer, you may need to use other browsers.
