2826056 - Report Actual Utilization Doesn't Show Planned Working Time for Employees

You don't know from where the report Actual Utilization - My Area pulls the number for the Planned Working Time. You think that the shown Planned Working Time is incorrect since it is less than the planned working hours specified in the employee time agreement.

You may wonder why the report Actual Utilization - My Area doesn't show any numbers for the figure Planned Working Time.

1. Go to Managing My Area work center
2. Click on Reports
3. Select and open report Actual Utilization - My Area 

The figure Planned Working Time is pulled from the availability of the employee from the Resource Management work center > Internal Resource Overview. 

The figure Availability is calculated as today's date until the end of the period specified. For example, if the period starts from the 1st of August and the period view is 30 days, then the range would be 1st of August to 30th of August. If today is the 12th of August, then all days up to the 12th of August, which are in the past, will not be considered in the figure Availability. All days that are not considered are grayed out. The available days are green.

The figure Planned Working Time is a summation of the time calendar period items. If the report doesn't show any numbers for this figure, then it means that the time data is outdated and not up-to-date for a specific employee or for all employees.

To keep time data up-to-date, we recommend that the day closure run is scheduled to run every day for all employees. This is possible via Regular Tasks > Administer Day Closure in work center Time Administration.
