Symptom

When create new Benefit Enrollment for employee system triggers the error: Enrolled in Period is required

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee Profile
  2. Select Benefits section
  3. Enroll employee into a benefit
  4. System triggers the error: Enrolled in Period is required

Cause

The role assigned to user who is creating the enrollment have field level restrictions for Benefit Employee Claim or Benefit Enrollment objects

Resolution

Remove the field level restrictions for Benefit Employee Claim and Benefit Enrollment objects

  1. Go to Manage Permission Roles
  2. Search for role assigned to employee
  3. Edit role
  4. Miscellaneous Permissions
  5. Remove field level restrictions for Benefit Employee Claim and Benefit Enrollment
