2826152 - free space count messages in ASE log - SAP ASE

Symptom

The following messages are seen in the SAP ASE database errorlog:

"The segment free page count on segment <segment id> in database 'SID' (4) was found to be negative (-8) after a change of 8 and has been set to 0."

'The free space count for fragment with lstart <lstartnr> in database 'SID' was found to be negative and has been set to 0. Execute 'DBCC USEDEXTENTS(SID,0,1)' in single user mode to correct this count."

The offending segments are data segments - where the value of sysusages.segmap <> 4 (or 8) for the referenced <segment id> or <lstartnr>.
