2826449 - Not Assigned Values in Project Product Data Report

When using Project Product Data Report or any report based on Data Source "Projects, Baselines, and Snapshots [PROPRJU05]", you find that there are "Not Assigned" values in the report results for some fields which can also appear as a duplicated line in the report results.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports view.
3. Find and open the report Project Product Data (Report ID PROPRJU05_Q0007) or any report based on this Data Source.
4. Run the report including the relevant fields.
5. In the report column the results appear as Not Assigned values for field XYZ (XYZ Represents the affected field). 

This issue can occur for one or more fields in the report. The data source PROPRJU05 is a complex data source including data on different levels: project task, work, material, time confirmation and others. They are combined; it means that without restrictions several entries from different sources would come: for example, one line for the project task, three lines for the work, two lines for the time confirmations.
 
The reports based on the Data Source, Projects, Baselines, and Snapshots [PROPRJU05] includes Key Figures defined on each Project Task levels mentioned. These Key Figures (for example, Operative Actual Work (Task) have a restriction defining that the data should be only taken from the basic data source for the project tasks. Hence, if you use only Key Figures for the project task level only one line per project task will be delivered.
 
However if you now try to add some key figure for example, Actual Work (h) which is defined on the work (service) level you can get more lines if there are several services for one task.

Entry the required Key Figures in the Report results, those being: Actual Work (h), Planned Work (h), Remaining Work (h), Planned Quantity, Actual Quantity, Remaining Quantity

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports view.
3. Find and open the report Project Product Data (Report ID PROPRJU05_Q0007) or any report based on this Data Source.
4. Run the report including the relevant fields.
5. Select the option View.
6. Select the mentioned Key Figures above in the Column Fields.
