2826581 - Employee Time Sheet Entry Export Returns With Empty Values For Some Fields

Symptom

You are trying to export the Employee Time Sheet Entry and have noticed that in some fields are blank such as:

  • Start Time
  • End Time
  • Start Date
  • Time Type
  • Number of Hours

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to import and export data.
  2. Select EmployeeTimeSheet-Time Sheet Entry.
  3. Export and see that 'Time Type', 'Start Date', 'Start Time', 'End Time' and 'Number of Hours' are blank.

Cause

Time Type, Start Date, Start Time, End Time and Number of Hours fields are transient.

Resolution

  • Fields that are type transient are not storeed in database. They are generated during runtime.
  • The Import and Export Data exports all the data that is in the database, which means that transient fields values are not present.
