2826616 - Unable to Release New Request for Quotation

You're trying to release a New Request for Quotation but the Propose Bidders Functionality is not working. System displays informational message "No bidders found for specified product categories".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center.
2. Click on New RFQ common task.
3. In Define General Information fill all obligatory fields.
4. Click on Next.
5. In Define Items select Product Category XYZ (XYZ represents the Product Category ID).
6. Click on Next.
7. Click on button Propose Bidders.
8. Infromational message appears "No bidders found for specified product categories".

The Propose Bidders Functionality will look for any transactions for that specific Product Category, for example, the purchasing history and analyze via all those registers the best bidder, if you're selecting a Product Category which was never used for any type of transaction the system cannot compare that on a Request for Quotation.

This is standard system behavior.
