2827533 - Using DCStart script does not bring up the DirectConnect(DC) server

Symptom

  • When attempting to start a DC server using the DCstart script the server fails to start.
  • The DC log shows:

    Error: 16240 Severity: 10 State: 0 OS Error: 10048 : Net-Library routine sybnet_listen() failed in srv__start_net Network error: status = 23 - Net-Lib protocol driver call to register a listener failed OS Error Text: Error in binding to local address
